MEET MRS. FRANCES
Mrs. Frances, owner and educator at Little Makers Daycare, is a professional educator, certified with the Illinois State Board of Education for Pre-K through 9th grade with an endorsement in Math education. She earned a Bachelor's of Elementary Education from Loyola University of Chicago and is actively pursuing a Master of Early Childhood Education in STEM at the Erickson Institute in Chicago. Mrs. Frances taught K-6 for fifteen years for Chicago Public Schools (CPS). She has also served as a tutor for children in reading, math, and STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and math).
As an elementary school educator, Mrs. Frances saw many students struggling in STEM subjects and knew that early childhood education can serve as a strong foundation for a child’s long-term educational development. Small class sizes and individualized attention early in a child’s development can make a big difference.
